Well after hearing about this recent story about penguin lovers, I actually felt sad.

I guess this is just the first "love" story I've heard about involving animals... besides another one that happenened in Washington state in 2005.

Independent?

Today, while waiting for the Metro, I heard a woman in traffic screaming at the top of her lungs, "All you care about is yourself!"

Well as someone who has been accused of this, I must admit I am fairly self interested. So much so that one could say I am independent.






Being human does have it's positive aspects. Independent thought and action being two of these.

This (Independence Day) July 4th I will eat and drink with close friends and enjoy their company. Most of all, I will reflect on the actions that have enabled me to be independent.
